MAPS is a non-profit organization created by the BLC team to give less privileged students the chance to get help for them to achieve something greater in life.
What is the purpose of MAPS?
MAPS believes that all students have a chance to recieve a higher education, and provides students with the means to get to college.
What curriculum does MAPS offer?
MAPS offers services for all subject areas in all high school levels of work. Additionally, MAPS can help students prepare for standardized testing such as the SAT/ACT as well as guide students through the college application process.
What type of students do MAPS target?
MAPS targets students that are in their sophomore or freshman year of high school because they are in the stage of transition to working toward college with their most important high school years standardized testing and college applications
Where does the MAPS organization operate?
MAPS operates in Yorba Linda, California. However, the students that are helped by MAPS are from Crest Avenue, Riverside.
MAPS has its home base at Breakthrough, Yorba Linda.
How are mentors matched with students?
Mentors will be matched with students by personality and by the needs of the student.
How can MAPS help my student?
MAPS can provide the way for a student to recieve a higher education, allowing them to be more successful and find more and better jobs.
